Description:
The renowned Mineirão stadium, located in Belo Horizonte, is one of the most important sports venues in Brazil. The stadium was refurbished in preparation for the Confederations Cup 2013, the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and the 2016 Summer Olympics. The original, historically important front façade was maintained while a new structure was added to upgrade the seating capacity to 64,000.

The new seating structure is made of precast concrete elements; 4,000m3 of concrete were treated with PENETRON ADMIX.
Description:
Located only 150m from the beach, the Miami One Shopping Centre has an open-air piazza style shopping area (with a supermarket and numerous specialty and franchise stores) situated under 42 residential units, four commercial offices and two home offices.
Products Used:
The 2-level basement excavation with hundreds of liters of water pumped out per hour, needed a high-performance waterproofing product. PENETRON ADMIX was used to waterproof over 2000m3 of concrete and 600m3 of shotcrete. All elevator pits, base slabs and even exposed areas on the podium and the shotcreted retaining walls were treated. Also, PENETRON, PENECRETE MORTAR and PENEPLUG were used during the previous construction stage to repair severe water leaks in the shotcrete and concrete where another admixture was used.
Description:
A system of lightweight vehicles without drivers, MetroTorino is Italy's first automated metro. It offers frequent service that can be quickly adjusted to different traffic volumes during rush hours, holidays, etc. Twenty VAL208-Torino trains travel the 7.5km distance beneath the Corso Francia in just 11 minutes, an efficient way to get around town.

The PENETRON System was used to waterproof all construction joints and concrete structure defects (leaking construction joint, cracks and concrete "bugholes") at all stations of "Linea 1."
Description:
The Metropolitano de São Paulo (commonly called Metrô) is the main rapid-transit system in the city of São Paulo and the largest in Brazil (also the second largest system in South America). The new Line 4 was a highly anticipated extension to the Metrô network. The line is 12.8 km long with 11 stations in the entire route that goes from Luz to Vila Sônia. Line 4 is operated by ViaQuatro, a private company which won the public-private partnership to operate Line 4 for 30 years

Working with the largest Brazilian contractors (Odebrecht, Camargo Correa, Andrade Gutierrez, OAS and Queiróz Galvão) and recognized civil designers, PENETRON ADMIX was approved after numerous compatibility, durability and performance tests. PENETRON ADMIX was used to increase resistance to water penetration and improve concrete durability of the Line 4 underground stations.
Description:
The Mengtougou waste water project is a key municipal facility for Beijing. With a treatment capacity of 40'000 m3 of water per day, this facility serves a population of 120'000 people and an area of 14 km2. Unlike other water treatment facilities, Mengtougou employs odor-eliminating technology which further increases the water quality of the Yong Ding River.

PENETRON was chosen and successfully applied to the adjustment, condensation and sediment tanks of the Mengtougou facility.
Description:
Built on the beautiful coastline of Paralia, Katerini in Northern Greece, Mediterranean Village is a 5-star luxury hotel complex covering a total area of 45,000m2, with several autonomous and partially connected buildings. The proximity to the Mediterranean Sea posed a risk to the reinforced concrete basement structure with (one and two levels below ground and sea-level). Complete waterproofing and protection from corrosion and chloride penetration, and resistance to carbonation was needed.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was added to fresh concrete (a total of 3,500m3) at the time of batching, and successfully used to create a white tank structure – a completely waterproof structure without the addition of any topical applied products such as membranes or cementitious coatings. All construction joints were treated with PENEBAR SW swellable-type waterstops (1,600m).
