Description:
The building foundation is 1.2m under the sea level and the distance from the ocean approximately 200m, one of the few basements in this area of Puerto de la Cruz due to constant water ingress. Despite continuous pumping, the excavation area constantly had 5 – 10 cm of water. During high tide, the water level rose significantly and the pumps had to be turned off at night due to noise pollution, repeatedly flooding the base slab with water.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was dosed for the base slab, exterior walls and pillars. The cold joints were simply treated with a coat of PENETRON slurry; no other joint waterproofing material was applied. This was enough to completely waterproof the joints. Hairline cracks were treated with PENETRON. Four days later, all water leakage through these cracks stopped and white crystal growth could be seen on the surface.
Description:
This commercial office block is prominently located on Protea Place and incorporates the latest materials and finishes that complement the unique architectural style.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used for the basement tanks, pedestal and roof slabs. A ‘temporary waterproof slab' was specified for the rear of the complex to facilitate future extension, but after looking at the cost of a 3mm torch-on product, PENETRON ADMIX was used instead. Based on this success, the architects appointed PENETRON as their primary waterproofing and steel protection system.
Description:
The neo-Arab style Campo Pequeno has been Lisbon’s bullfight arena since the 18th century. After a profound renovation, it now serves as a multi-event venue for various events beyond bull fighting. The new facility has an area of 5,000m2 and an arena diameter of 80m and includes an underground shopping center, restaurants and an underground parking lot.
Products Used:
About 1,000 m2 of the basement concrete walls had water leaks. After several tests, the PENETRON System was chosen to waterproof the project.

The facility comprises two berthing piers, and is located 4.3 km from the Fibria pulp mill. It can receive ships continuously and has the capacity to embark 7.5 million tons of cellulose per year.
Products Used:

Description:
The refurbishment and upgrading of the Plaza de España (area: 36,160 m²) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife included a huge artificial lake (2,500m³ large and 90cm deep) filled with saltwater and several multipurpose buildings, including a tourist information point, shops and retail exhibition spaces. The lake required the drilling of wells for a pumping system to handle 650m³ of water/hour and to shoot a geyser of water 30 meters in the air.
Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used to waterproof the lake, making it impermeable against water ingress even under pressure, reducing the formation of cracks. PENETRON ADMIX also allows for seamless and secure batching, eliminating any need for waterproofing work afterwards.
Description:
A state-of-the-art film and television studio production facility, the Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios serve the Southeast Asia region as a film & TV production center with five stages, indoor water tanks, TV studios, workshops & post-production, outdoor studios and offices. With a relatively high water table, studios located close to a river and large underground pools, a solution to reduce concrete permeability under constant hydrostatic pressure and waterproofing containment of the water tanks was needed.
Products Used:
Approximately 13,388m3 of PENETRON ADMIX were poured into the basement concrete structure, 2,008m2 of wet areas were treated with PENETRON and the 4,107m2 poured concrete roof was sprayed with PENESEAL PRO.
