Description:
Located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in an area with an extremely high water table, the BMM Ispat steel plant required waterproofing treatment for an area of over 20,000m².  This included underground tunnels, the wagon tippler foundation and the adjacent power plant water treatment structures.

Products Used:
PENETRON and PENEBAR were used to waterproof all structures to eliminate concrete permeability and enhance concrete durability for protection against reinforcement corrosion and chloride ion penetration.
