Salvador Dalí Museum

St. Petersburg, FL, USA

Description:
Home to the largest collection of Salvador Dalí’s artwork outside Spain and recently named one of the “20 Most Beautiful Museums in the World” by the American Institute of Architects, the new Dalí Museum was built on the downtown waterfront, only 200 feet away from Tampa Bay and five feet above sea level.  Built to withstand a Category 5 hurricane, the new structure will resist a 165-mph storm and provide safety for the Dalí collection from storm surges and wind damage.

Products Used:
PENETRON ADMIX was used in the wall concrete mix to eliminate water infiltration in the unpainted walls during Florida's rainy season and guard against concrete permeability due to seawater incursion from Tampa Bay during storms.
